Château Cantemerle, a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, has been producing elegant Bordeaux blends since the Middle Ages. Owned by the SMA group, the estate is known for its Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant wines that balance power with finesse, highlighting the gravelly terroirs of the Haut-Médoc.
Situated in the Haut-Médoc, the estate benefits from a temperate maritime climate that enhances ripening and complexity in Bordeaux varietals.
The gravel soils provide excellent drainage, promoting deep root systems and concentrated flavors. These terroirs create balanced and age-worthy wines with refined tannins and aromatic depth.
