Refined and Vibrant Elegance

The 2019 vintage in Bordeaux was marked by a hot, dry summer with occasional rainstorms, allowing for optimal ripening and concentration. At Château Montrose, the gravelly soils and proximity to the Gironde estuary helped maintain balance and freshness during the warm season. This vintage produced wines with deep concentration, excellent structure, and bright aromatics, showcasing the estate's terroir-driven precision.

La Dame benefited from Montrose's prime position near the Gironde during 2020's intense heat spikes. The estate's clay-gravel soils provided crucial water regulation through sustained summer drought. The second wine captures Saint-Estèphe's classic structure with accessibility, while precise vinification preserves the vintage's natural concentration.
