Domaine Robert Chevillon, located in Nuits-Saint-Georges, has been a family operation for generations and is now run by Bertrand and Denis Chevillon. Known for their dedication to Burgundy’s Pinot Noir, the domaine produces wines that express the unique characteristics of their individual lieux-dits. With a focus on sustainable farming and traditional vinification, the estate has become a benchmark for Nuits-Saint-Georges wines.
Situated in the Côte de Nuits subregion of Burgundy, Nuits-Saint-Georges is known for its robust and structured Pinot Noir. The region’s semi-continental climate features warm summers and cool winters, ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir. The area is also renowned for its diversity of soils, which allow for nuanced expressions of terroir across its vineyards.
The vineyards of Domaine Robert Chevillon are planted on clay-limestone soils with varying compositions, which influence the personality of each cuvée. The slopes of Nuits-Saint-Georges provide excellent sun exposure, allowing for balanced ripening.
