Domaine William Fèvre, founded in 1959, is a cornerstone of Chablis winemaking. The estate was established by William Fèvre, whose family had a long tradition of viticulture in the region. It has earned global acclaim for producing Chardonnay that reflects the purity of Chablis, now under the stewardship of the Henriot family.
Located in Burgundy's Chablis appellation, the domaine thrives in a cool continental climate. The region's proximity to the River Serein provides temperature moderation and safeguards vines from harsh weather, creating ideal conditions for cultivating Chardonnay.
With 78 hectares of vineyards, including premier and grand cru parcels, the domaine benefits from Kimmeridgian limestone soils that impart signature minerality. Gentle slopes and optimal sun exposure foster ideal ripening conditions, ensuring vibrant acidity and complexity in their wines.
