The Estate

Mas de Daumas Gassac was established in the early 1970s by Aimé and Véronique Guibert, who transformed an abandoned farmhouse near the abbey of Aniane into a pioneering wine estate. Recognizing the unique potential of the Gassac Valley, they planted their first vines in 1972, leading to the inaugural vintage in 1978. Over the years, the estate has gained international acclaim for producing high-quality wines that showcase the distinct characteristics of their terroir.

Refined, Lively, Age-Worthy

The 2021 vintage in the Languedoc experienced cool weather and rain during early growth stages, followed by a sunny summer that ripened the grapes perfectly. Mas de Daumas Gassac’s unique microclimate, surrounded by forest and cooled by the Gassac River, helped preserve freshness and complexity. The result is a balanced, terroir-driven wine with remarkable finesse.
