Domaine Chantal Lescure, established in 1975 by Chantal Lescure and her husband Xavier Machard de Gramont, is a family-owned estate. Following Chantal's passing in 1996, their sons, Aymeric and Thibault Machard de Gramont, took over the domaine. In 2023, the estate was sold to new owners, Jean-Philippe Girard and Éric Rousseau, with François Chavériat, who has managed the estate since 1996, continuing in his role.
Situated in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the estate's 19 hectares of vineyards span from the Côte de Nuits to the Côte de Beaune, encompassing appellations such as Chambolle-Musigny and Meursault. This diverse regional presence allows the domaine to produce a wide range of wines that reflect the unique characteristics of each area.
The vineyards are planted with two-thirds Pinot Noir and one-third Chardonnay, benefiting from a variety of soil types, including clay and limestone. Certified organic since 2009, the estate employs viticultural practices that respect the life of the soil, the plant, and the environment, aiming to produce authentic, pure wines that express the finest qualities of each terroir and vintage.
